Girl Crush Project

Today's post is just a little update, it's been a few months and I have missed shooting and sharing some of my current faves. I was determined to get some new material up and decided to take my camera with me to this Girl Crush Holiday Market. Guys, I cannot tell you how much I had to contain my excitement. The market was held at Tout Suite on their second floor and as soon as I walked in I fell in love. The pictures I took don't do it justice, it was very Instagram worthy. There were local makers(all girls, yay!) with all their handmade items. I wanted something from every booth I visited, seriously. I hope there are more events like this soon because it was a dream.

Grandma Knows Best

Hello beauties! I hope everyone is having a great New Year so far, I know its only been a week but its never too early to start the year off with a better attitude or positive vibes. I've been working like crazy so I've been a little grumpy but being able to have a little time to put together another post is helping. I bought this cute dress from Forever 21 and it reminds me of the tapestry off a couch, which sounds bad but I love it! I'm into granny prints and fabrics so when I saw this gem in the sale section I grabbed it and fell in love instantly. I saw this picture on tumblr of a girl with a fro wearing something similar but hers was made of denim and she paired it with a similar fuzzy sweater and all I could think is "that's so me!" So you can image how happy I was when I saw how adorable the two looked together. In case you guys were wondering it was 30 degrees when I took these pictures and my face and legs were frozen by the time I got back in my car. It was totally worth it though, right? On another note, I just want to take the time to say how much I appreciate you guys for keeping up with me! I haven't had this blog for that long and I've already made some new friends(I do consider my readers friends) super cheesy, I know. I hope 2014 will bring me more adventures and advances for my blog. My goal is to aim high and not be scared to put myself out there and thanks to all of you I'm already at a good start.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Hello beauties! First off, I hope everyone had a nice holiday and got some fun gifts. I spent all of last week working and finishing getting parts of presents for Christmas. I spent my whole paycheck plus a little of my savings getting gifts for my family and friends so now its time to work and recover from that. I haven't mentioned this but I take pictures for my friends blog, her name is Shelby and she runs uncommonbeing. We both are still trying to find photographers so we can post more often. In the meantime we take each others pictures to the best of our ability. We met up last week so I could take some shots of her and ended up at the mall so she could finish getting gifts, and let me tell you going to the mall two days before Christmas Eve is a mistake. Thank goodness we weren't in there for long though. She came with me to run some errands and we ended up spending the whole day together and we both would like to start making DIY post and maybe some videos of hauls. I'm even thinking of doing outfit of the day videos but there's still the need of a photographer/videographer. So hopefully we can find some freelance photographers to work with and get some more content on our blogs. Sometimes I forget that I should talk about my outfit as well as life in these posts, but anyways this is what I wore when we went out shopping. I'm kinda obsessed with cutesy overalls and baby doll coats so this outfit was a great representation of me on a daily base.
