Happy Saturday y'all! I am officially 21 and it feels so good, I had such a fun time last night. I went to a wine bar with a few friends and some family then to the club for my very first time. Crazy right? I'm not a big club or party kinda girl but I mean you only turn 21 once right? So I let loose and I don't think I've ever had so much fun just dancing and going with the flow. This was my first time really drinking too(so many new experiences!) but I had a little wine and sampled margaritas, I just don't like the taste of alcohol but I guess no one really does. What I'm really looking forward to is going to shows for free now and getting to go to cute bars. I wore the prettiest black dress from Free People but the only pictures that were taken were from my proud mama who was snapping pictures at the dinner so if I get my hands on one I'll show you guys! This outfit on the other hand was an idea of what I wanted to wear. I feel really classy wearing blazers and I love these lounge shorts I got from XXI so I've been wearing them like crazy. The two paired together has a business chic look, maybe not office appropriate but definitely a fun take on a business look. Until next time, byeeee <333
Do you all remember me talking about wanting to record OOTD videos? Well I finally was able to! Yesterday my friend helped me shoot it and I stayed up last night editing all the clips and now have the final project. I'm giving myself a little a pat on the back for actually staying focused and getting it done so I hope you guys enjoy it. I definitely want to start having more video style vlogs and OOTD videos so you can see a little bit of what goes on when I'm taking pictures for the blog and get a better idea of how the clothes fit and move. Thanks to all you of beauties for keeping up with me so far and know that I love sharing my day and outfits with y'all!

Also, special thanks to my friend John for recording this video for me!
Hello beautiful people! I have a very quick ootd for what I consider an errand day. Yesterday Shelby and I met up, I know it doesn't seem like from the way I post but we actually haven't seen each other in a few weeks. I think its because we are constantly texting and chatting on Instagram so it never really feels like we've missed anything. We got yummy lunch from Pei Wei which we devoured so no pictures of that(oops). Then we headed to Target to look at cameras and things we don't really need of course. Both of us are investing in a new camera, I'm looking for one that records also so I can start making vlgos(YAYYY). So if you guys can recommend any let me know! Back to the outfit though, you all know I love me some basic pieces and this outfit is so comfy and simple. I've literally been living in these rain boots, it was raining the morning of when we took pictures and then suddenly got super bright as soon as we made it to Target. Also, shout out to Shelby for helping with the pictures! She's learning how to use my camera and she did a pretty good job! Happy Saturday y'all <33

There's something about wearing white and denim together that reminds me of summer. It's such a clean and simple look which is probably why I like it so much. I got this shirt dress from Urban Outfitters for $10 awhile back and was waiting for it to be warm enough to wear it out. It's a midi dress so it goes past my knees but this one is cut at an angle so that the left side is higher. I decided to just knot it up and layer a denim shirt over it for a laid back look. You guys know how much I love tying flannels around my waist so it's sort of second nature at this point. It was also my first time wearing my Chelsea wedge boots. I had the brilliant idea of wearing these bad boys to work so I could break them in, I'm paying for that today! I'm not the only one with logic like that right? Talk to you beauties real soon, byee <33
First off, hello beauties! I feel like its been forever since I've talked about my latest adventure..but then again I haven't been on a lot of outings because of this bummy weather. It's been freezing and raining like crazy here in Houston. I'm imagining this is how it feels to live in the UK, well close enough. My mother and I have been planning a day trip to Austin to visit my older sister but every day that we tried to go was cancelled because of the ice on the highways. Finally it cleared up last week and I was able to drive us there, it was sprinkling on and off so I tried to get some pictures when we entered Bastrop, Texas. I was literally shaking and trying to help my mom figure out how to use my camera. (shout out to my momma for trying her best!) I'm getting back to classics and was excited I could finally where this blazer I thrifted from Family Thrift store w/ Shelby from uncommonbeing. I told you guys she's been helping me find more classic pieces that go with my style. I've actually got a good amount of sweaters and jackets lately so maybe a haul will be in order to show my little gems. This was just a day trip so we did a little thrifting before we picked up my sister from work then did a little driving around and I ended up seeing In-N- Out Burger and couldn't pass up trying their burgers! We don't have on in Houston so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I don't really eat meat so I can't say I'm a trustworthy food critic but I did really like the burger and fries, I'd say it's a step up from Dairy Queen but not Red Robbin level. If you guys have those hamburger joints then you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. Overall I had a nice time seeing my sister since I barely get to visit but I should be going back for SXSW in March. I'm already planning some outfit ideas for the festival so I can't wait to get it all together, I'll probably do a few inspiration posts from my Polyvore account so look out for those! As always, its been a pleasure and I'll be back soon!
